Youth rob petrol pump salesman

Four unidentified armed youths forced their way into the sales room of a petrol pump in Sector 14/15 here last night and looted a bag containing Rs 30,000 from salesman Dharamvir before escaping on their motorcycles.
According to preliminary reports, the miscreants came on two motorcycles and entered the petrol pump sales room where they brandished a country-made pistol and a knife before Mr Dharmavir, and threatened him with dire consequences if he raised any alarm. Thereafter, they snatched the bag containing the cash and pushed him into the store room. Immediately they fled on their motorcycles.
On receipt of information about robbery, the police reached the scene of crime and combed the entire area but could not get any clue about the robbers.
This is the third such incident which took place in this district during the last two months and has caused a panic among the petrol pump owners.
