COMPUTER AND BUSINESS SKILLS

Operating Systems:

Fully fluent with commands and Batch Programming, multi-menu startups, autoexec, and the config.sys.

Master

Fully fluent with this GUI OS. Familiar with Win.ini, System.ini, Registry, drivers, and most other ini files.

Advanced

Fully fluent with these OS=. Familiar with Registry, System settings, trouble-shooting, Win.ini, and System.ini.

Intermediate/Advanced

These OS= are much like Windows 3.x and 4.x in the interface, and it also has a few network additions. I have a little experience working with this environment, and I have no experience as of yet with networking this OS.

Beginner

This OS is much like the older Windows 3.x Graphical environment, using a different type of FAT and file format. I Have experience with working with this OS, but I know very little about it=s inner-workings.

Intermediate

I only used this OS from a consumer level, I have no experience from a developmental perspective on this OS.

Beginner

Programming/Database Experience:

I have extensive knowledge of this language. I have created a wide variety of programs, such as a hangman with customizable Data Dictionary Files, Asteroids Game (similar to the ATARI classic), BMA (Battle-Tech Role-Playing Game), Databases, Word Processors, Graphics Manipulation software, Bitblting, Ray casting/shooting, and Animation.

Advanced

This language uses a lot of the same syntax as Visual basic. I have created programs such as screen savers, Video Games, System performance testing software

Intermediate/Advanced

I have written several programs in this language including, formatted output, number calculations, as well as In-depth studies of Video Game programs. I have not used this language in quite a while, so I am liable to be a little bit rusty.

Beginning/intermediate

I have little experience with this language.

Beginner

I have 1 year=s experience with this language, I feel quite comfortable programming Databases with it. I programmed relational databases, queried searches, customer inquiries, etc.

Intermediate

I have a years experience with programming HTML, and HTML frames. I am familiar with tables, bullets, numbering, graphics, and audio. This is a fairly limited language, and It doesn=t take long to become a master (it isn't Rocket Science).

Advanced/Master

I have used this language in conjunction with HTML to create various programs, simple text games, Online Shopping Pages, Tables, and various exercises. This language is very similar in coding and structure to that of C++.

Beginner/Intermediate

I have taken 2 courses on this subject, I have used both the MS-DOS Debug version and the compiler version (Borland=s Turbo Assembler). I have only written fairly simple programs with this language, string manip., formatted output, push/pop etc. (this is Rocket Science)

Beginner/Intermediate

I have quite a bit of experience with this >form of language=. It utilizes DOS= commands, which are very simple to plug-in, so if you know your DOS commands, you have got half of the language down already. I have used this language primarily to create time-saving file utility programs.

Intermediate

Hardware:

I have 8 years experience in building, trouble-shooting and repairing IBM PC=S. I have extensive experience with both the hardware and software that is accommodated with this machine. I started working with 8088 computers, and have worked my way up to Pentium III computers running at 600 Mhz. I feel very comfortable designing a custom system tailored to fit one=s needs, from ordering to delivery, I have done it all with this machine.

Master

I have worked on a few Macintosh PC’S, ie: replacing hard drives, configuring printers, adding CD-ROMs. My experience is somewhat limited with these machines due to my limited experience with this system=s OS.

Beginner/Intermediate

Due to the Proprietary nature of this class of machines, there is little that one can do as far as repairing without becoming a specialist. I have experience with changing 2.5" IDE drives, floppies, adding parallel CD-ROMs, upgrading memory, system BIOS and so on.

Intermediate

I have experience with networking computers with 10 base-T and 100 Base-T equipment. I have experience in mapping network drives, and capturing shared printers to a routed path and port (this is useful for sharing printers in DOS-Based Applications). I am familiar with the current network products and LANs. As of yet, I have no experience with WANs. I used the Win95 OS to do these networks.

Beginner/Intermediate

I have experience with servicing a wide range of Laser Printers. I have worked on HP, and Lexmark Products, as well as copy machines.
