"Ed Hamrick has done it once again" said Kok Leong of Digital Darkroom@Singapore. And yes, Ed Hamrick has, indeed, done it once again. He has released yet another update of his program; VueSmart, a third party software for the HP PhotoSmart Scanner. In only a month, he has gone from Version 1.1 to Version 2.0 (that I've tested in November) to the latest version, VueSmart version 3.1. I can tell you one thing, Ed is very hard working and diligent. If you've read my previous comparisons of VueSmart 1.1 and 2.0, then you notice that this time I will talk less and post more pictures for you, the potential user, to evaluate. Also, I added a screen capture of the VueSmart driver that gave me the best results. I've separated this article into three sections: VueSmart adds some very useful functions over the HP Software: |
