Indiana On My Mind

It's just another fun filled day at the factory
As another part makes it's way down the line
Over and over it's the same old part as yesterday
And theres a daydream building in my mind

I tried to wander
Lose all thoughts of time
Leave my sanity awhile
But as my mind wandered, it brought a change of rhymne
Leaving home upon my mind

And country roads are a milestone
To the woods where I use to roam
To the fields where I use to play
And all of this is Indiana on my mind

My imagination, it carries me
From this factory where I work
To the place that I love the best
To the home that was my birth

And country roads are a milestone
To the woods where I use to roam
To the fields where I use to play
And all of this is Indiana on my mind

Along the byways to the quiet streams
To the restful ways of life
All that it means as I do my job
Is escaping in my mind

And country roads are a milestone
To the woods where I use to roam
To the fields where I use to play
And all of this is Indiana on my mind

And all of this is Indiana playing on my mind
