This page takes a look at the awesome array of creatures in Dungeon Keeper II.

All Information Obtained From DarkSword

From the brainwashed Imp to the arrogrant Dark Angel, they're all here. Although not yet in great detail, I hope to gain much more information about your trusty minions before the game is released. If you know any details (official) then please send them to me and I'll place it here.

bile.bmp (97334 bytes)

A Bile Demon's hunger is never satisfied, therefore it comes as no surprise to learn that no chicken in the dungeon is safe when their bellies rumble. Woe betide any hero who dares to come between a Bile Demon and his food, the more prepared ones bring along gas masks on the off-chance. His gas has the ability to choke enemies and strike fear into any hero holding a burning torch.

darkangel.bmp (85934 bytes)

The Dark Angel is a fearsome foe, being nearly as tough as the Horned Reaper he also has the added ability of being able to fly over slain corpses, bringing them back to a form of life as animated corpses to serve your evil will. A Dark Angel's powerful magic based attacks will decimate even the most powerful invading hero parties. He was once a divine hero, but has since fallen from grace. Be warned though, he is also extremely arrogant...

darkelf.bmp (63134 bytes)

An offshoot of the pansy Elves, the Dark Elves split from their do-gooding cousins centuries ago, shunning the overland world in favour of the dark realms beneath. Centuries of life underground have created an intelligent, yet utterly ruthless evil race superbly adapted for dungeon dwelling and with a keen eye and an ever-ready crossbow, the Dark Elves are master long-range marksmen. Not surprisingly they also hate their surface dwelling cousins.

darkknight.bmp (58574 bytes)

The Dark Knight used to be one of the goodly heroes but dabbled in mystical dark magic and became an evil spirit that animated a soulless suit of rune armour. The diametric opposite of the chivalrous Knight, Dark Knights disdain honour and goodness and embrace evil in all its forms. Adept in the use of the sword and powerful hand-to-hand combatants, their plate mail armour means that they can take a lot of punishment as well as dish it out.

firefly.bmp (91254 bytes)

This oversized insect flies all around your dungeon, investigating everything and always on the lookout for intruders. Most heroes fear even small insects, so imagine their fear when they bump into a giant one, flying several feet off the ground. Armed with their own personal light-source, Fireflys are adept at exploring all the distant nooks and crannies of an ever-expanding dungeon.

goblin.bmp (43374 bytes)

No master can be too evil for the Goblin hordes and what self-respecting dungeon would complete without these servile serfs? Often bullied by more powerful creatures, they don't excel at any single task, but are all too eager and willing to serve. A little unreliable in combat, they rely on sheer weight of numbers to overpower stronger adversaries.

horny.bmp (79094 bytes)

Sadistic, psychotic, bad tempered, and that's just how the other creatures describe him! The Horned Reaper is the epitaph of evil, the perfect creature for your dungeon. Armed only with his scythe he makes short work of all your enemies (and allies).

imp.bmp (87454 bytes)

These little creatures are the life blood of your dungeon, without them scurrying around you would be forced to carry out all of the menial jobs yourself, not an inviting proposition for an aspiring evil overlord. Feel content then that these little ones actually enjoy the work you set them, they don't even complain when you slap them around. Ha, such is the power you command over lesser creatures.

maiden.bmp (91254 bytes)

Fear these creatures, for they are a vile abomination of human and spider. With the upper torso of a woman and the lower half of a spider they are a sight to behold and a foe to fear.

mistress.bmp (43374 bytes)

The Mistress is one of the most perverse and kinky creatures. Dressed in a rubber suit she enjoys nothing more than a good slap or a quick 5 minutes in the torture chamber. Though she doesn't just take, she likes to give out a beating with those metal claws of hers...

rogue.bmp (98094 bytes)

Stealth and surprise are the watchwords of these stealthy cut purses. The Rogue is a sneaky character, able to enter an enemy's camp unseen and with his ability to pick locks he can even steal valuable resources from them. They skulk around in the darkest corners of whatever dungeon will hire them and when called into combat always attempt to strike from the rear. Leaving a Rogue in charge of your treasury is definitely not a wise move.

salamander.bmp (79094 bytes)

Giant lizards who have adapted to life in the fiery lava pits which flows through the subterranean world. This reptilian creature has a terrible temperament, attacking his enemies with his ferocious tail. He does, however, have a favourite part to play in the Pit. His immunity to Lava is also an advantage in certain combat situations, as is his infra-red vision.

skeleton.bmp (83674 bytes)

Not even the dead can withhold your evil, such is your power that their mortal remains rise once again to serve you with unswerving loyalty. Carrying weapons that are centuries old, they are a threatening sight to behold, and even worse to face in combat.

troll.bmp (95814 bytes)

This creature loves to manufacture traps for your dungeon, and as such can often be found working away in a quite corner of the dungeon, putting the finishing touches to his latest mechanism, or measuring some dungeon corridor and fitting the latest in dangerous looking doors.

vampire.bmp (53254 bytes)

One of the eternal undead, the Vampire considers himself one of the best fighters in the dungeon, and not without due reason. A master of both magic and physical combat, he even has the ability to rise from the dead if he is ever felled in combat.

warlock.bmp (46414 bytes)

These evil researchers are lured to dungeons by the promise of forbidden lore and ancient knowledge. Though they prefer the safety of the library, they have enough spells up their sleeves to toast any wandering hero, or inquisitive Imp.
